Microblading

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a permanent makeup treatment to fill in and define your brows. If you have no hair, or very minimal hair, microblading will give you natural looking brows to enhance your features.
If you are someone who usually fills in your brows with makeup, this will replace any makeup you use day to day.
It involves implanting a pigment into the skin using tiny needles on a handheld tool. We mimic natural hair strokes that will blend flawlessly with your own natural hair pattern.
We can use a variety of needles and techniques to create ultra-realistic brows, Ombre brows, sculptured brows and fusion brows.

The Process

Your first treatment will take roughly a couple of hours. We start with a thorough consultation, and then we work together to shape your brows and choose colours, and ensure we are both completely happy with the template before we begin the treatment itself. I will make sure you are as comfortable as possible during the treatment and thoroughly explain the aftercare you need to do to get the best possible result, as well as go through the healing process you will experience.

4-8 weeks later, you will return to me at the salon for a retouch appointment. This is to perfect the colour and shape; we can assess how your skin has held the pigment and colour retention. It is completely normal to lose a few of the hair strokes we implanted in the first appointment during the healing process. We will fill in any that you may have lost, and we can adjust the colour and shape also if necessary.
After this, the colour will fade slightly over time. We highly recommend returning to us for a Colour-Boost appointment every 9-18 months. This is just one sitting, to boost the colour and refresh your brows again.
